Francia Raisa Previews There Will Be Political Arguments Coming on 'grown-ish'

Francia Raisa snaps a pic with co-star Chloe Bailey inside the Freeform Summit in Los Angeles on Thursday night (January 18).

The two grown-ish stars celebrated their season two renewal at the event along with Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Jordan Buhat, Halle Bailey, and Emily Arlook.

Speaking with US Weekly at the event, Francia previewed that Ana’s Republican side will be coming out soon.

“There’s so much that happens on this show,” she shared. “I’m the only Republican in our friend group, so expect my voice to be heard on that and an argument to basically start because a lot of people don’t like that side of me. So it touches on a lot of issues.”

grown-ish airs on Wednesdays on Freeform.

He adds that the show will be tackling all issues that college students face during their tenure: “We wanted to make sure we gave as honest an experience of what this walk is as possible. This is a generation with a lot to say.”

“The one thing my generation is good at is finding a model for success,” Yara says.

grown-ish will debut on Wednesday, January 3rd on Freeform.
